Review Guidelines

TrustedRoids community reviews are intended to help other users understand real experiences with listed Sources.

Useful reviews should be specific, relevant and based on the reviewer’s own experience.

What to Include

Where relevant, a review can mention:

  • ordering and communication experience;
  • shipping and delivery times;
  • packaging and discretion;
  • customer support;
  • product availability;
  • payment experience;
  • how problems or delays were handled;
  • verification or product-authentication experience.

You do not need to cover every point. Focus on the parts that were relevant to your experience.

Be Specific

Reviews such as “great Source” or “bad service” provide very little useful information on their own.

Where possible, explain what happened and why you formed your opinion.

For example, instead of only saying that shipping was fast, giving an approximate delivery time provides more useful context to other users.

Keep Reviews Relevant

Reviews should focus on the Source and the experience being reviewed.

Avoid unrelated arguments, advertising, repeated posts or content intended only to manipulate a Source’s rating.

Forum discussions are available for broader conversations and questions.

Personal and Sensitive Information

Do not publish:

  • full names;
  • home addresses;
  • private phone numbers;
  • private email addresses;
  • payment details;
  • cryptocurrency wallet information;
  • tracking numbers;
  • other sensitive personal or order information.

Information that could unnecessarily identify another person should also be excluded.

Moderation

Submitted reviews may be held for moderation before publication.

TrustedRoids may reject, edit or remove content that is spam, irrelevant, abusive, duplicated, contains sensitive information or does not meaningfully contribute to the review platform.

Moderation does not mean that TrustedRoids agrees or disagrees with a reviewer’s opinion.

Editorial Ratings and Community Reviews

TrustedRoids editorial ratings and community reviews are separate.

An editorial rating represents TrustedRoids’ current assessment of a Source, while community reviews reflect experiences submitted by individual users.

Both may change over time as new information becomes available.

Source Responses

Where appropriate, Sources may be given an opportunity to respond to issues raised through the platform.

A response from a Source does not automatically alter or remove a community review.

Reviews Should Stay Current

Source websites, shipping arrangements, support quality and other circumstances can change.

When reading older reviews, consider the date of the experience and compare it with more recent information where available.

Help Build a Useful Community

The most valuable reviews are clear, specific and useful to someone deciding whether they want to investigate a Source further.

TrustedRoids aims to build a review platform where community feedback adds meaningful information rather than simply increasing a rating score.
